Okay! Here it is. You'll need to full-view or download it in order to see it properly. It is rather huge.
Nine panels of pure Murkiness. Let's examine them in order...
-- Murk stands with Dragonboy during an encounter of some kind.
-- Murk relaxes in some sub-zero snow in order to see if her toxic body will freeze or not. She's pleased with the results.
-- Murk enjoying a glass of concentrated ammonium chloride and a Salem Full Flavor... two very toxic substances.
-- Murk finds a picture of herself back when her name was still Jen Mercado. Before her mutation, she actually had quite a healthy tan, mostly due to her Puerto Rican heritage.
-- Murk standing with a cool lightning strike, as posted previously.
-- Murk meets with some sort of evil villainous type who probably wants to pay her money to do very wrong things.
-- It looks like Zoel is winning, and Murk is... melting.
-- Murk's reputation would suffer serious harm if anyone ever saw her hugging her Synthea plushie doll.
-- Murk once again safely contained in a tank. They even set up a thought-to-text interface, which is probably a waste of taxpayer dollars.
It's also nice to see what she looked like before her change to how she is now, but it also seems to through off the continuity from one of your earlier pieces with Murk appearing during Medieval times. Is that intentional, or would you say there was another person like Murk way back? Also, I like the one of her in the frozen wastes and the meeting with the evil villain CEO; seems as if she'd perform well in the cold and we get to see what she does for a living, aside from fighting Zoel.
It occurs to me to wonder, does Murk need to breathe? If not, she seems an ideal agent for deep-sea work; liquids don't compress the way gases do, although she might still have a problem with dissolved gasses bubbling out if she surfaced too quickly.
This is an interesting set of images, varied enough to give a good taste of the character and pique the interest for more. If this were a promo for a short comic or some such, I'd say you nailed it.
Well, it's understandable, as the two are relatively similar. As for "tar Baby", yeah as unfourtunate as it is, you would've caught a whole lot of grief if ahe where to be released to the public at large.

She's basically a slimy toxic villain with a mean streak, self-esteem issues, and a vaguely film-noirish femme fatale personality/spoiled brat.

Everyone asks that. No... in fact, i came up with this character when i was in high school, which was... 1996 or so? Well before Inque first appeared.
Of course, her name back then was "Tar Baby," but i had to change it because i eventually learned that name was considered racist. Bah.
I meant for them to be beady plastic eyes... ah, well. Snakethea it is.
